Can customers teach Google who they trust? | The AI Search Briefing #7

Can customers teach Google who they trust?
Google may be experimenting with preferred sources in AI Search. In this episode, Ralph Peterson explores why trust could become one of the most important factors in future AI recommendations.

Can customers teach Google who they trust?
That sounds like science fiction.
Actually… probably more fiction than science.
But according to a report from Search Engine Journal, Google is experimenting with ways for users to identify preferred sources, making it more likely those sources may appear in future AI Searches.
Think about that for a minute.
For years, Google tried to determine what business is trustworthy.
Now it appears Google may be asking users directly.
Who do you trust?
What websites do you prefer?
Which businesses do you return to?
It means trust may become even more important in the months ahead.
Not rankings.
Not keywords.
Trust.
Because the goal of AI Search is not simply to find information.
The goal is to recommend information people trust.
The businesses that communicate clearly, deliver great service, and build strong customer relationships may have a significant advantage in the future of AI Search.
And that brings us back to a familiar theme.
Be trusted! Right? It’s simple! Be trusted!
And you’ll have a much better chance of being recommended.
I’m Ralph Peterson of 7Trillion SEO.
Tomorrow we’ll talk about a real-world example that’s happening right now.
Until then…
Think big!
Be trusted!
Be recommended!
