Rumor Has it: Google AI Answers Are Showing Up In 40% Of Searches? | The AI Search Briefing #26

Google AI answers may be appearing in 20%, 40% or even more than 60% of certain searches, depending on which study, keywords and search categories are being measured.
But that is not the real story.

The exact percentage matters far less than whether your customers are already seeing AI-generated answers when searching for the products and services you provide.
If AI answers are appearing and your business is not being included or recommended, you may already have a visibility problem.
The better question is:
Would AI recommend your business today?
Business owners can begin preparing by focusing on three important areas.
First, make sure your Google Business Profile is complete, accurate and actively maintained. Your services, business description, hours, categories and other information should clearly explain who you are, what you do and where you provide your services.
Second, continue collecting fresh, honest customer reviews. Recent reviews provide current evidence that real customers are hiring and trusting your business.
Third, answer the questions your customers are already asking. Create useful service pages, FAQs, videos and website content that provide clear, specific answers.
The businesses most likely to be understood by AI are the businesses that clearly communicate:
Who they are
What they do
Where they provide their services
Why customers should trust them
Stop worrying about whether the exact percentage is 20%, 40% or 60%.
Start working on becoming part of the answer.
